WHY is “community” so important in “Web3”? In order to wrap our heads around what is going on with the blockchain, it is important for us to take a moment and learn about DAOs. That’s right y’all…We are putting our learning pants on and digging into Decentalrized Automoumous Organizations… 

When I first started down the rabbit hole of learning about Web3, there was ALOT to try and wrap my mind around. Someone throughout the term “DAO’ and I was like…” oh great something else to learn”. So to be honest…I’ve kinda avoided it.

I knew that it was an attempt to “decentralize” power in corporations through groups and some people had smaller “DAOs” where they essentially shared NFTs but I stopped learning there. Until today…Our guest this week, Max Lyman was tagged in several of my tweets when I asked the Twitter world who I should talk to to help me make sense of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations….

Today Max demystified something things about true decentralization that I didn't fully grasp before and shares WHY Web3 enthusiasts are so passionate about distributed power. And guess what? He also talks about why not ALL DAOs are what you think they are...
