Shadow Artist Workshop & Somatic Release Breathwork™ Waivers

By registering for and participating in the Shadow Artist Workshop and/or Somatic Release Breathwork™, hosted by Rivky Gross and Heather Parady, I acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the following three waivers. I understand that by checking the box at checkout, I am agreeing to all three sections in full.

1. Shadow Artist Workshop Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for and participating in the Shadow Artist Workshop ("Workshop"), hosted by Rivky Gross and Heather Parady, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Voluntary Participation

I understand that my participation in the Workshop is entirely voluntary. I take full responsibility for any outcomes, actions, or decisions I make as a result of my participation.

No Guarantees

I acknowledge that the Workshop is designed to provide tools, strategies, and insights for creative and personal growth. However, no guarantees or warranties are made regarding specific results, outcomes, or success.

Personal Responsibility

I understand that any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from ideas, advice, or guidance shared during the Workshop are solely my responsibility. Rivky Gross and Heather Parady and any affiliates of the Workshop are not responsible for my personal or professional decisions.

Release of Liability

I release Rivky Gross and Heather Parady, and any affiliated individuals or entities, from any and all liability for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss incurred as a result of my participation in the Workshop, whether directly or indirectly.

Intellectual Property

I understand that all materials, techniques, and strategies shared during the Workshop are the intellectual property of Rivky Gross and Heather Parady. I agree not to reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without explicit written permission.

No Professional Advice

I understand that the Workshop does not provide financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice. Any information shared is for educational purposes only and should not be construed as professional advice.

Media Release

By participating, I grant permission to Rivky Gross and Heather Parady to use photographs, video recordings, or other media captured during the Workshop for promotional purposes, unless I explicitly opt out in writing prior to the event.

Governing Law

This waiver is governed by the laws of the state in which the Workshop is held. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in accordance with applicable state laws.

2. Somatic Release Breathwork™ Waiver

I acknowledge that Somatic Release Breathwork™ is a deep and powerful process. I have notified the practitioners of any physical injuries, mental, or psychological conditions I have. I engage in this experience willingly and take full responsibility for my own physical, mental, and emotional experiences during and after the session.

Contraindications

Somatic Release Breathwork™ is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be considered a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for:

• Pregnant individuals
• Persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina, heart attack, or high blood pressure
• Those with glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy
• Those experiencing active addiction, psychosis, complex PTSD, biological disorders like Autism, personality disorders, or suicidality

If I have any doubts about whether I should participate, I will consult with my primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their doctor before participating.

Release of Liability

I hereby release and hold harmless Rivky Gross from any and all results that arise during or from Somatic Release Breathwork™. I waive all rights under the law regarding the same. I or my representative(s) agree to fully release and hold Rivky Gross harmless from any and all claims or liability of any kind arising out of or in connection with my session(s).

Attestation of Good Health

I confirm that I have read and understood the above information and attest that my general health is good enough to participate.

3. Waiver & Contract for Sessions with Rivky Gross

I understand that this session/workshop with Rivky Gross is not therapy, nor is it a substitute for therapy. I am responsible for my own mental health, and if I need professional or medical help, I will seek it out.

Personal Responsibility & Emotional Well-Being

• I understand that Rivky Gross is not my therapist and will not be responsible for my emotional well-being.
• I understand that this work may be emotionally stimulating.
• I understand that no results are promised, and what I put into this experience is what I will get out of it.

Right to Refuse Service

I understand that:

• Rivky Gross has the right to deny me service if she determines that this work is not a good fit for me.
• If I am refused service, I will be issued a full refund.
• This work is not a fit for individuals with complex PTSD, psychosis, active addiction, biological disorders like Autism, personality disorders, or suicidality.

Consent for Touch

I acknowledge that Rivky Gross may use touch in breathwork sessions for therapeutic purposes, and I consent to this unless I state otherwise.

Somatic Release Breathwork™ Risks & Contraindications

I acknowledge that this work is a deep and powerful process and that the following contraindications apply (as listed in the Somatic Release Breathwork™ Waiver above). If I have any medical concerns, I will consult a doctor before participating.

Release of Liability

I hereby release and hold harmless Rivky Gross from any and all results that arise during or from the Somatic Release Breathwork™. I waive all rights under the law regarding the same. I or my representative(s) agree to fully release and hold Rivky Gross harmless from any and all claims or liability of any kind arising out of or in connection with my session(s).

Attestation of Good Health

I confirm that I have read and understood the above information and attest that my general health is good enough to participate.

Agreement & Acknowledgment
