Michael is also the author of the bestselling collection of personal essays, A Paper Orchestra, which he tours as a one-man show.

WHO IS MICHAEL JAMIN?

Michael Jamin is a professional screenwriter, showrunner, and producer. Michael Jamin has been writing for television since 1996. His many credits include Just Shoot Me, King of the Hill, Beavis & Butthead, Wilfred, Out of Practice, Rules of Engagement, Lopez and Tacoma FD. He’s also served as Executive Producer/Showrunner on Glenn Martin DDS, Maron, and Rhett & Link’s Buddy System. Michael currently lives in Los Angeles where he continues to work in TV and is the author of his bestselling collection of personal essays, A Paper Orchestra. He tours with it as a one-man show.

In addition to his television work, Michael Jamin has become a notable figure on social media platforms, where he offers advice to aspiring writers and shares insights about the television industry. He also runs a podcast, "Screenwriters Need to Hear This," where he discusses screenwriting and the business behind it.

Jamin is passionate about teaching the craft of storytelling and screenwriting and has launched courses and workshops for people looking to break into the industry.
