Today, I connected with Whiskey Biz, an unconventional entrepreneur and creator. I found him on TikTok and am not sure I have ever seen someone seem to have as much fun making content as his guy. In this conversation, we discuss his philosophy in creation, being ambitious while having a family, and why ENJOYING what you make is the key to it all.

TIPS for Building Your Social Media Platform:
- Post when YOUR audience is looking at their phones the most. Ideally, 7:00 PM to 9 PM on weekdays and Sundays (Monday & Sunday nights are the best times to post), and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Fridays. You may also post at lunchtime during the weekdays.
- Post 3 times per week and try to avoid back-to-back days unless you absolutely have bangers in the chamber.
- PS. Never post on Saturdays.
- A “view” is 6 seconds. So, put everything you got into the first 6 seconds of your video.
- You gotta have your personality in every video! That’s the only thing YOU have to separate you from every other person trying to do this.
- Use 3-5 hashtags no more no less.
- Tag few if any on the posts and avoid tagging big accounts (100k+ follower counts)
- Avoid cursing and dangerous stuff.
- Surprisingly, this is the most powerful underrated tool. Comment something unique, nice, and or funny on other’s videos.
- Lastly, and probably the money is obvious. Make content people wanna watch or something they just can’t scroll past.
